Pat Stephens announced the signing of three new members on Wednesday afternoon.
The signing class features two local talents to Richmond in Seth Barker and Tucker Jones, and one international signee in Reshan Algama from Sri Lanka.
Barker will join the Colonels after a stellar career at Madison Central High School. As an Indian, Barker posted a season stroke average of 70.9, earning First Team All-State honors in 2024 and 2025, a first-place individual finish at the 2024 Kentucky Semi-State, a fifth-place finish at the 2025 state championship, a ninth-place finish at the AJGCA Circle K Championship, and a sixth-place finish at the Lexington Junior City Championship.
He also helped the Indians to two state titles in 2023 and 2024. In his final season at Madison Central, he had three individual wins, seven top-five finishes, and four others in the top-10.
Jones also had a stellar career at Madison Central, taking first at this year's Lexington Junior City Championship to go with a fifth-place finish at the Kentucky All-State Golf Championship, a fifth-place finish at the AJGA Preview, and another fifth-place finish at the Kentucky State Open while advancing to 2025 US Open Sectional Qualifying.
In 2024, Jones was also a part of the Indians' state championship team while finishing tied for first at the region championship individually.
Algama will come to Richmond as the No. 495-ranked golfer in the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR), and as the No. 1-ranked junior golfer in all of Sri Lanka.
This year, Algama finished first at the Robert Rock Junior Golf Tour UAE Championship while adding three other Sri Lanka Junior Golf Tour wins. Additionally, he became the first ever Sri Lankan to finish in the top-10 at the SINGHA Thailand Junior World Championships.
Over 34 WAGR-sanctioned events played in, Algama has claimed eight total tournament victories, representing Sri Lanka in multiple international tournaments as well.
