RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University men's golf team tees off the 2026 spring season on Sunday at the Palmas del Mar Collegiate hosted by UNC Greensboro in Humacao, Puerto Rico.
The tournament will consist of 36 holes with one round played a day from Sunday through Tuesday on the par 72, 7,122-yard Palmas Del Mar Flamboyan course.
Competing for the Colonels will be
Zach Watterson,
Anders Larson,
Justin Begley,
Hristo Yanakiev, and
Jameson Corbin, with
Jackson Finney competing as an individual.
The Colonels will be one of 15 total teams competing in a field that includes; UNCG, TCU, Virginia Tech, Delaware, Michigan, Wofford, Rutgers, Wake Forest, Kennesaw State, Southern Illinois, Rhode Island, Austin Peay, and Boston College.
EKU will look to match their fall opener in 2025 at the Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational where the Colonels took first as a team courtesy in part to a program-best ever second round shooting 264 (-20).
