RICHMOND, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky University announced game promotions for the men's basketball season that begins on Thursday.
EKU will begin the 2025-26 campaign against Midway at the Seabury Center in Berea, Kentucky. The Colonels will play their first game of the season in Baptist Health Arena against in-state rival Western Kentucky on Monday.

The game against the Hilltoppers will be a "White Out" and Greek Night. All fans are encouraged to wear white. T-shirts will be given away at the game.
There will be a canned food drive at the Nov. 22 game against Mercer. Fans will have a chance to win prizes by playing Holiday Music Bingo at the Nov. 29 game against Wofford.
Kids Takeover Day is scheduled for Dec. 6 when the Colonels host Indiana-East. Kids will be able to "takeover" game day with their own game day staff roles. There will also be a baby race.
A Toys for Tots drive will take place during the Dec. 6 contest and the Dec. 13 game against Miami (Ohio). There will be an Ugly Sweater Contest and an EKU Snowflake Ornament giveaway when EKU host the Redhawks.
Ignite Night is scheduled for Jan. 17 when the Colonels take on in-state rival Bellarmine. Local nonprofits, churches and community organizations will be honored.
Coaches vs. Cancer and Team Jared night will be Jan. 28 against Austin Peay.
Colonel Mania on Feb. 5 against Florida Gulf Coast will bring the energy of the wrestling ring to the basketball court. Youth Sports Day is set for Feb. 7 when Stetson visits Baptist Health Arena. Local youth sports teams are invited to watch the Colonels and stay for a post-game autograph session.
The final three home games will feature 859 Night against West Georgia on Feb. 18, 80's Night against Queens on Feb. 25 and Senior Day versus Lipscomb on Feb. 28. We will celebrate Madison County against UWG and there will be an 80's style sunglasses giveaway against the Royals.
