RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University men's tennis team will play its next two matches at home against Saint Louis and Georgetown College on Thursday inside the Greg Adams Indoor Tennis Center.
The EKU tennis programs will host four matches on Thursday, EKU men's tennis will face Saint Louis at 9 a.m. ET and return at 5 p.m. to play Georgetown. Both matches will have live stats available
here. As a reminder, admission is free for fans during the 2024-25 season.
EKU (3-9) enters play on Thursday on a four-match losing streak since Jan. 25. During the losing stretch, the Colonels picked up two points off singles action in a 5-2 loss at Chattanooga.
Fernando Bulnes won in a three-set thriller 6-4, 1-6, 6-3 over Gabe Castillo on court No. 1 while
Adrian Contreras also won in three sets 6-4, 5-7, 12-10 over Matej Laibl.
On the season,
Nuno Pinheiro is 6-1 in singles play primarily playing on the top two courts. The Portugal native and Atlantic Sun Conference Player of the Week selection on Jan. 29 has won four of his last eight matches, two of those eight were unfinished.
