RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University women's basketball team will wrap up the 2024-25 regular season hosting Central Arkansas on Thursday and Lipscomb on Saturday inside Baptist Health Arena.
Thursday's game is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. ET will be 2000's Night at the arena, the first 100 fans in the venue will receive a free themed poster. On Saturday, EKU athletics and the EKU women's basketball team will honor seniors
Kaitlyn Costner and
Jasmine McGinnis-Taylor for their contributions to the program over the last two seasons.
Senior festivities will start prior to Saturday's 4 p.m. tipoff, fans are encouraged to arrive early. Tickets for both games can be purchased online

Those not able to be in attendance can find both games streamed live on ESPN+ with Wes Chandler serving as the play-by-play announcer. Both games can also be heard over the air on 92.5 WEKY courtesy of the EKU Sports Network.
EKU (19-10, 9-7 ASUN) enters the crucial week of Atlantic Sun Conference play looking to earn a host-bid in the conference tournament for the second time in its four years as a member of the league. As of Wednesday, the Colonels are tied for fourth in the standings with Stetson, however, hold the NCAA NET ranking tiebreaker over the Hatters to earn the 4-seed host slot.
Last game, fifth year guard
Alice Recanati led the Colonels with a season-high 27 points going 9-for-17 from the floor with three made 3-pointers. She neared a double double with seven rebounds while bumping her career assist total to 658 since her arrival in 2020. The Bergamo, Italy native also moved to eighth in program history with 1,540 career points in the loss.
Scouting Central Arkansas
Central Arkansas (20-7, 14-2 ASUN) enters Thursday's game as the current No. 2 seed in the ASUN standings and has won 13 of its last 14 games, only losing to No. 1 FGCU by 24 points last week. Senior guard Jade Upshaw leads the Sugar Bears with 15.4 points per game, she had 22 points last time out in a win over West Georgia.
History vs. Central Arkansas
EKU and UCA meet for the first time this season on Thursday inside Baptist Health Arena, the two have quickly become rivals since the Colonels joined the league in 2021. Thursday's game is the 11th meeting between the two schools since 2009, the all-time series is tied, 5-5. Central Arkansas won the last meeting in the series, knocking the Colonels out of the 2024 ASUN Tournament semifinals matchup in Conway.
Scouting Lipscomb
Lipscomb (18-9, 11-5 ASUN) will play in Louisville on Thursday before heading across I-64 for the weekend matchup against EKU. The Bisons, currently the No. 3 seed in the ASUN standings, are winners of their last three games over Queens, North Alabama, and Austin Peay. Senior Bella Vinson leads Lipscomb with 14.6 points and 6.0 rebounds per game, scoring double figures in eight of her last nine games with two double doubles.
History vs. Lipscomb
EKU leads the all-time series over the Bisons, 6-4, since the early 2000's. However, the series is now split at three wins since the two schools became ASUN Conference members with a Lipscomb win on Jan. 4, 2025 earlier this season.
