JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Eastern Kentucky University and Jacksonville University will face each other for the second time in seven days when the two teams play in the Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament quarterfinals on Monday at Swisher Gym in Jacksonville.

THE COLONELS
- EKU, 18-13 overall, is the No. 5 seed after going 12-6 in conference play. The Colonels ended the regular season with an 86-81 victory at North Florida on Wednesday.

Devontae Blanton has put together an ASUN Player of the Year caliber season. He is the only player in the conference ranked among the top-15 in points (5th), rebounds (10th), assists (3rd), steals (15th) and field goal percentage (9th). Blanton is averaging 16.5 points, 6.2 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 1.2 steals while shooting 43% from the field.

Jordan Crawford had a career-high five steals at North Florida. He also contributed 14 points, four rebounds, one assist and one block.

Montavious Myrick leads the ASUN this season with 12 games of 10 or more rebounds. He scored a career-best 15 points at North Florida. In last week's game at Jacksonville he had 13 rebounds.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
- No. 4 seed Jacksonville is 18-12 this season and finished 12-6 in the ASUN. The Dolphins wrapped up the regular season with two straight wins, including a 79-72 victory over Stetson on Thursday.
- Robert McCray V, the 6-foot-4 junior guard, leads the team in scoring (16.2 ppg) and assists (4.5 apg). He had 15 points and 10 rebounds in last week's game against the Colonels.
- In two games against EKU this season, Jacksonville has limited the Colonels to 35% shooting from the field and 28% from behind the 3-point arc.
- Kendall Munson had 17 points, on 6-of-10 shooting from the field, and eight rebounds in the win over Stetson. The 6-foot-9 senior forward is averaging 9.2 points and 5.2 boards while shooting 53% from the field this season.
INSIDE THE SERIES
- The all-time series is tied 4-4, and the Dolphins have won three straight. The Colonels are 2-2 in games played in Jacksonville.
- A putback with 32.7 seconds left sent Jacksonville to a 59-55 victory over EKU on Feb. 24 in Jacksonville. The Colonels had erased a 5-point deficit and tied it at 53-53 with 2:07 to play. Blanton led all players with 16 points. McCray had 15 points and 10 rebounds for the Dolphins. The Colonels struggled shooting the ball, making just 35% from the field and 25% from 3-point range. Jacksonville shot 39% overall and 32% from deep.
