BANDON, Ore. – The EKU men's golf team finished the Bandon Dunes Classic in 14
th place on Tuesday.
The Colonels ended the 54 holes with their best round as a team shooting +12 (296
) to close out the competition.
Zach Watterson was the top individual finisher for EKU ending tied for 21
st with a final round of -1 (70)
Jackson Finney finished tied for 50
th at +16 (229), with his best rounds coming on Monday and Wednesday, when he was +5 (76).
Justin Begley turned in a solid round of +3 (74) as the junior from Manchester, Ky. landed tied for 59
th at +18 (231)
Gehrig Sexton finished tied for 61
st with a team-best +4 round on Tuesday, ending the tournament at +20 (75).
Closing out the scoring for EKU was
Anders Larson tied for 79
th at +24 (237).
EKU next hits the course at home for the Indy at Arlington beginning Saturday, March 15.
