MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Eastern Kentucky University men's golf team will participate in the Memphis Intercollegiate: Spirited by Old Dominick starting Monday morning.
The 13 teams will compete over two days on the par-72, 7,334-yard course at Colonial Country Club. The Colonels are scheduled to tee off in a shotgun start at 9:45 a.m. ET.
Joining EKU in the field includes Central Arkansas, Dayton, Illinois State, Jacksonville State, Louisiana-Monroe, Lipscomb, No. 71 Memphis, No. 13 Ole Miss, Tarleton State, No. 12 Tennessee, Troy, and Wright State.
As of Sunday afternoon, three of the 13 teams in the field are ranked top-75 in the NCAA.
Competing for EKU will be senior
Anders Larson, junior
Zach Watterson, redshirt freshman
Hristo Yanakiev, redshirt junior
Jackson Finney, and senior
Justin Begley. Freshman
Jacob Lewallen has been entered into play as an individual.
Last time out, Larson won The Seminole Intercollegiate shooting a season-best 209 and 7-under for the three-round, 54-hole, tournament in Tallahassee, Florida.
The Pine Island, Minnesota native carded a 66 (-6) with five birdies and one eagle on the final day to secure the victory and EKU's first individual win outside of Richmond since 2022.
