RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University women's tennis team lost to UAB by a score of 7-0 on Saturday at the Greg Adams Tennis Center.
EKU (7-12) will host Tennessee State tomorrow at 3 p.m. ET to wrap up its 2024-25 non-conference schedule.
In doubles, EKU won on court No. 2 as
Marilou Cote and
Ceylin Ipek defeated Kristyna Damaskova and Nera Tesankic, 6-2, but dropped the point with losses on the other two courts. The Colonels forced two sets to three on singles court Nos. 1 and 3, the Blazers won the other four in straight sets.
