STARKVILLE, Miss. – The Eastern Kentucky University women's tennis team fell to Mississippi State, 4-0, on Sunday inside the Rula Tennis Pavillion.
EKU (7-11) has two matches next week before Atlantic Sun Conference play opens on March 16 at home.
The Colonels dropped court Nos. 1 and 2 in doubles by 6-2 results and were down 4-3 on court No. 3 before the Bulldogs earned the point.
In singles, Mississippi State picked up three additional points on court Nos. 1, 4, and 5 to clinch the dual match. EKU's
