UNIVERSITY PLACE, Wash. – Anders Larson and
Jackson Finney finished the Seattle U Redhawk Invitational strong on Tuesday both shooting under par in the tournament's final round at Chambers Bay Golf Course.
Larson finished the tournament carding a 69 (-3) tying his second-best individual round as a Colonel.
On the round, the Minnesota native recorded six birdies helping him improve by 27 places to finish as EKU's best individual finisher, tied for 31
st at six-over.
Finney closed the tournament with a 72 (-1) performance in the final round thanks in part to four birdies on the day.
A product of Louisville, Ky., Finney moved up 22 places through the final 18 to finish tied for 67
th at 13-over.
As a team, the Colonels finished in 16
th place out of 18 competing teams at 48-over.
Finishing tied for 71
st individually was
Connor Gdovin at 14-over.
Isaac Meador finished tied for 82
nd at 16-over with
Zach Watterson finishing tied for 97
th at 22-over.
The Colonels will close out the regular season at the Buckeye Classic hosted by Ohio State beginning on April 11.
