EUGENE, Ore. – EKU's
Kristian Imroth's stellar season came to an end at Friday night's 3,000m steeplechase final at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships.
Imroth ends his season with Second-Team All-American honors finishing in 12
th with a time of 8:49.06 after having to recover from a fall he suffered with six laps to go.
For the season, Imroth ran a personal best of 8:30.65, winning his semifinal heat earlier in the championships.
The Colonels will wrap up action on Saturday with
Edna Chelulei in the women's 5,000m final at approximately 10:55 p.m. ET.
