Jepchumba Highlights Second Day of Raleigh Relays

RALEIGH, N.C. -  Eastern Kentucky University's track and field team finished the second day of the Raleigh Relays on Friday with Brighter Jepchumba delivering the performance of the night.
 
Jepchumba ran the second fastest 10,000m ever by a Colonel in the women's invitational with a time of 32:40.65 to finish 8th overall.
 
Khadija Ennasri turned in a strong performance in the women's 1,500 meters, winning her heat and finishing 39th overall with a personal best time of 4:23.05, followed closely by teammate Metrine Serem at 4:23.59.
 
In the women's 5,000m, Morgan Kobylinksi finished 77th with a time of 16:58.96.
 
The Raleigh Relays will conclude tomorrow with action for EKU starting at noon ET.
