RICHMOND, Ky. – The Colonels of EKU travel to North Carolina this week for the historic Raleigh Relays beginning on Thursday.
One of the top outdoor meets every season, the Colonels will have competitors on the track every day for the three-day event.
Making her outdoor debut this season at the meet will be
Edna Chelulei in the 10,000 meters on Friday.
She will be joined by teammate
Brighter Jepchumba in the 10K, running in her first outdoor meet as a Colonel.
She returns to Raleigh after breaking the then school record in the event at the meet last season with a time of 32:22.80.
Kristian Imroth is set to compete with the ASUN Freshman on the Week
Hamish Murray, in the men's 1,500 meters on Thursday.
Murray is also set to run in the 800m on Saturday after taking first at the EKU Invitational last week.
Imroth had a strong outing in Raleigh in 2025 as he ran an 8:36.56 in the 3,000m steeplechase.
