EUGENE, Ore. – EKU's Edna Chelulei closed out the 2025 outdoor track & field season on Saturday night claiming Honorable Mention All-American honors in the women's 5,000m final at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships.
 
The freshman from Kenya earned the honor finishing 24^th in the final with a time of 16:24.97, pairing the accolade with her Second Team All-American status that she earned in the 10,000m final in which she finished 12^th.
 
She ends her impressive freshman season with the two honors, the school records in the 5,000m and 10,000m, the ASUN Conference record in the 5,000m final, and the ASUN's Most Outstanding Freshman award.
