JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Eastern Kentucky University freshman goalkeeper
Jordan LeVasseur has been named the Atlantic Sun Conference Women's Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week after posting two shutouts and recording 13 saves last week.
It marks the second ASUN weekly honor of LeVasseur's career and her freshman season. She is one of only two goalkeepers in the league to win the award twice this year. Overall, it is EKU's third conference weekly honor of the 2025 campaign.
LeVasseur, a native of Pinckney, Michigan, finished the week with a 1-0-1 record while facing 40 total shots from Central Arkansas and North Alabama.
On Thursday, she tallied 10 saves, her third career double-digit effort, in a 1-0 win over UCA. She added three more saves in Sunday's scoreless draw with UNA, including two critical stops in the closing minutes.
Through nine matches this season, LeVasseur has compiled a 5-1-3 record with 67 saves. She owns a 90.5 save percentage and is averaging 7.44 saves per game, ranking top 10 in the NCAA and top two in the ASUN in saves per game, save percentage and total saves.
EKU will be idle Thursday before returning to action Sunday to host in-state rival Bellarmine at the EKU Soccer Field.
