BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Eastern Kentucky University women's tennis program dropped a 6-1 decision against Indiana University on Saturday afternoon inside the IU Tennis Center.
With the loss, EKU falls to 1-4 on the season.
To open the match, the Colonels lost the double point suffering 6-2 losses on courts one and three.
Indiana (4-0) would go on to claim five of six singles courts for the victory. EKU's
Zhansaya Bakytzhan picked up the team's lone point on the evening, winning 6-4, 6-2 on court six over IU's Chase Boyer.
EKU returns to action tomorrow facing Louisville on the road. First serve is scheduled for 11 a.m. ET.
