RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University men's tennis program announced its 2026 spring schedule Monday, featuring 27 matches, including nine home contests and 10 games against Power Five or nationally-ranked opponents.

The Colonels return nearly their entire roster from the 2024-25 season and welcome three highly rated incoming freshmen. EKU finished last year with a 9-17 overall record and posted a 6-4 mark at home. Individually, the Colonels return two Atlantic Sun Conference All-Conference performers in
Nuno Pinheiro, a First Team selection, and
Fernando Bulnes, a Second Team honoree.
EKU will open the spring slate with one home match in January, hosting East Tennessee State on Jan. 13.
Following the opener, the Colonels will embark on a nine-match road stretch spanning late January and early February. EKU is scheduled to play a doubleheader at Louisville on Jan. 14, followed by matches at Butler and IU Indianapolis on Jan. 18, Middle Tennessee on Jan. 23, Ole Miss on Jan. 25, Tennessee on Jan. 29, a neutral-site contest against North Dakota in Louisville on Feb. 1, and a road match at Bellarmine on Jan. 1.
The Colonels will return home the following week to host James Madison and Xavier on Feb. 7. EKU will then travel to Dayton on Feb. 8 before closing the stretch with a doubleheader at eight-time NCAA national champion and 42-time Southeastern Conference champion Georgia on Feb. 12.
EKU will play a third of its home matches in mid-February, hosting three consecutive contests against former Ohio Valley Conference foe Tennessee Tech on Feb. 19, Furman on Feb. 21, and Chattanooga later that day. The Colonels will close the month with a road match at North Alabama on Feb. 27.
In March, EKU opens the month with its ninth Power Five matchup, traveling to Auburn on March 1. The Colonels will then return home for a single match against Jacksonville State on March 4. Later in the month, EKU is slated to face Vanderbilt on March 22 and Saint Louis on March 27.
The Colonels conclude the regular season in early April, beginning with a pair of home matches on April 1 against Southern Indiana and Bellarmine. EKU will close the regular season slate with a Tennessee road trip, playing at Lipscomb on April 11 and Belmont on April 12.
