ATHENS, Ga. – The Eastern Kentucky University men's tennis program is set to play a doubleheader agains the University of Georgia on Thursday outside at the historic Dan Magill Tennis Complex.

EKU (6-6) won four consecutive matches against North Dakota, Bellarmine, James Madison, and Xavier to open February.
The Colonels had their winning streak snapped last match on the road against Dayton by a score of 4-0 on Feb. 8.
On the season, senior
Fernando Bulnes leads EKU with a 5-3 singles record and enters Thursday on a two-match winning streak with wins against JMU's Esteve Agusti 6-2, 6-3 and Xavier's Sam Frezelle 6-2, 6-0 from court two.
Freshman
Ilie Cazac follows Bulnes with a 4-4 record and has won three of his last four finished matches against mid-court competition from Bellarmine, JMU, and Xavier.
Senior
Nuno Pinheiro also continues to improve his record on the year from EKU's top court, winning two of his last three matches over James Madison's Ryan Morgan 6-4, 6-3 and Xavier's Max Pettingell 6-1, 6-1 moving to 3-8 on the season.
In doubles, EKU has won three of their last five points and have won the crucial point in 50 percent (6-for-12) of their matches this season.
The 8-time NCAA National Champion and 42-time SEC Champion Georgia Bulldogs (3-1) are off to a hot start this season winners of three of their first four games over Georgia Tech, Boise State, and Duke.
