RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University men's tennis program returns home after a three-match road trip to host Tennessee Tech, Furman, and Chattanooga this week.
EKU enters this week of play with a 6-8 overall record and 2-1 mark in true home games. The Colonels are on a two-match winning streak at home defeating James Madison (4-1) and Xavier (4-3) in a doubleheader on Feb. 7.

This season, senior
Fernando Bulnes leads the squad with a 5-3 overall record primarily playing from court two. He enters the week on a two-match win streak going 2-0 on Feb. 7 with victories over JMU's Esteve Agusti 6-2, 6-3 and Xavier's Samuel Frizelle 6-2, 6-0.
Bulnes is a one-time Atlantic Sun Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week selection this season.

Ilie Cazac has four wins on the season receiving a bump in the lineup due to injuries. The Chisinau, Moldova, native, has three wins in his last five matches including a win over JMU's Francisco Sinopoli 6-4, 5-7, 6-2 from the four spot.
