RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University women's tennis program suffered a 4-3 loss to Jacksonville State on Wednesday afternoon outside the Greg Adams Tennis Center.
With the loss, EKU falls to 6-11 on the season.
To open the match, the Colonels claimed the doubles points with victories on courts two and three. EKU's pairing of

Izem Elif Olcer won 6-4 on court two and
Sasha Parkhomenko/
Marilou Cote won 6-3 on court three over the Gamecocks.
In singles, EKU won on two courts resulting in the loss.
Masha Fedenko won in straight sets 6-0, 6-4 on court two over Aneka Patel and
Izem Elif Olcer won via opponent retirement in the first set.
EKU will have two weeks off before returning to action on March 19 with a doubleheader against Missouri and Lindenwood on the road.
