NORMAN, Okla. – The Eastern Kentucky University men's golf program earned the 2025-26 PLATFORM Golf Presidents Special Recognition Team Academic Award, the organization announced Wednesday.

The award recognizes the nation's top-performing men's collegiate golf programs in the classroom.

EKU was one of 174 NCAA Division I programs recognized and one of 88 teams who received the Presidents Special Recognition distinction after posting a team grade-point average of 3.50 or higher during the 2025-26 academic year.

The Colonels also enjoyed success on the course in 2025-26, winning one team title, recording five top five finishes, and placing third at the 2026 Atlantic Sun Conference Men's Golf Championship in Georgia on April 23.
