RICHMOND, Ky. -  The Eastern Kentucky University women's soccer team concludes nonconference play Thursday against Xavier at EKU Soccer Field.
 
Kickoff is scheduled for 4 p.m. ET. The match will air live on ESPN+, with live stats available.
 
The Colonels (4-3-1) enter Thursday's contest following a 2-2 draw at Northern Kentucky last week.
 
EKU built an early 2-0 lead after finding the net twice in the opening 26 minutes. Emma Wolf opened the scoring in the ninth minute, converting a pass from Rachel Phifer for her second goal of the season.
 
Robin Reilly doubled the advantage in the 26th minute of her first start of the season, finishing a through ball from Avery May. The Latrobe, Pennsylvania, native has recorded two goals and two assists this season while ranking second on the team with 17 shots.
 
Northern Kentucky cut the deficit to one with a goal late in the first half, but the Colonels entered the break with a 2-1 lead and an 8-2 advantage in shots.
 
The Norse flipped the script in the second half, outshooting EKU 17-0 before scoring the equalizer in the 81st minute.
 
SCOUTING XAVIER
 
Xavier enters Thursday's match with a 4-2 record after earning consecutive victories over Dayton and Western Michigan. The Musketeers have outscored their opponents 7-1 during the two-match winning streak, with their only losses coming against No. 1 Michigan State and No. 4 Vanderbilt.
 
Sophomore midfielder Brooklyn O'Brien leads the Musketeers with four goals this season. She scored twice last week en route to earning BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week honors.
 
2025 All-BIG EAST third-team selection Peyton Kohls leads Xavier at top scoring seven points this season. She has recorded a team-high three assists while adding two goals and a team-leading 16 shots.
 
The Musketeers lead the all-time series 5-2-1, but the Colonels earned a 1-0 victory in the most recent meeting in 2017.
 
Following Thursday's match, EKU will open conference play against Austin Peay on Thursday, Sept. 24.
