As you know, agent activity is an area of significant concern for intercollegiate athletics programs because of strict NCAA and Kentucky legislation pertaining to this issue. Information outlining EKU’s Student-Athlete Agent Program, the State of Kentucky’s athlete agent statutes and applicable NCAA regulations regarding agents and financial planners is linked above. We ask for your cooperation with these rules and regulations.

We are hopeful that our agent program will be mutually beneficial to student-athletes and all athlete agents. If you have any question regarding the program, please contact the Compliance Office at 859-622-8541.

The EKU Athletics Department requests that the Agent Registration Form be completed and returned by all agents aspiring to do business with EKU student-athletes. Also, it is a state law that all prospective agents register with the State of Kentucky through the Division of Occupations and Professions. If you have not already registered with the State as an Athlete Agent, please go to http://raa.ky.gov/

A file will be opened under your name upon receipt of the Agent Registration Form. You may want to include information about your company that would be beneficial for our student-athletes to know. Please note that all Agent Registration Renewal Forms are mailed in the summer for the following school year. You will be asked to fill out an Agent Registration Renewal Form at that time.
