SIMPSONVILLE, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky University’s women’s golf team posted its best round of the Napa River Grill Cardinal Cup on the final day, but remained in 15th place. The event was hosted by the University of Louisville in Simpsonville, Ky. EKU’s final round 308 was its best score.

Gabrielle Andersson led all Colonels with a three-round total of 230, 14-over-par. Leslie Booth jumped 20 spots with a final round 2-over 74 and finished tied for 61st.

Notre Dame won the event with a 14-over-par three-round total of 878. Louisville placed second, three shots behind.

Eastern will return to action on Monday when the team participates in the Louisiana-Monroe Fred Marx Invitational in Monroe, La.
