Final Results

ACWORTH, Ga. – Eastern Kentucky University's women's golf team finished 11th at the Bentwater Women's Collegiate, which concluded on Tuesday in Acworth, Georgia.
 
EKU will host the annual Colonel Classic starting Monday at the University Club at Arlington in Richmond.  The 36-hole tournament will feature two rounds on Monday and the final round on Tuesday.
 
The Colonels recorded rounds of 309, 314 and 330 for a total of 953.  EKU was three shots behind 10th place Alabama-Birmingham (950) and 20 strokes better than 12th place Seminole State.
 
Louisville (898) captured the team title by 22 shots over host Kennesaw State (920).  Tennessee Tech (925) was third and UNC Asheville (930) placed fourth.
 
The 12 teams competed over two days on the par-72, 6,132-yard course at Bentwater Golf Club.
 
Imogen Jessen led EKU and tied for 24th with a 54-hole total of 235.  Mary Keene Marrs (239) tied for 36th. 
 
Lanie Campbell (240) tied for 39th and Karra Tucker (243) tied for 47th. 
 
Playing as an individual, Maddi-Jo Benton (251) placed 60th.
