Eastern Kentucky’s women’s basketball team will make its first road trip of the 2010-11 season this weekend. The Lady Colonels (1-1) will travel to south Florida for a pair of games. Eastern faces Florida International (1-2) in Miami on Saturday at 4:30 p.m.

The road trip ends with a game against Florida Atlantic in Boca Raton on Monday.

In its last game, EKU lost 74-59 to Miami (Ohio) on Wednesday at McBrayer Arena. After shooting 55 percent in their season opener, the Lady Colonels shot 31 percent against the RedHawks. As a team, FIU has shot 36 percent from the field and 20.6 percent from three-point range through its first three games.
