RICHMOND, Ky. – After the first two rounds of the EKU Lady Colonel Classic, three teams are tied for first place. Eastern Kentucky is tied for sixth overall. Two players are tied for the individual lead at the Arlington Club.
Memphis, Arkansas State and Morehead State have two-round totals of 605 and lead the field of 17 teams. Memphis was the most consistent of the three leaders, shooting rounds of 302 and 303. After a first round 307, Arkansas State fired a 298 in round two. Morehead State followed a first round 305 with a second round 300.
Toledo, the defending champions, shot the best round of the day. After an opening round score of 312, the Rockets turned in a second round score of 295 and sit in fourth place. Murray State (611) is fifth.
Chelsea Harris (146) of Austin Peay and Anna Carling (146) of Arkansas State are tied atop the individual leader board. Both players shot identical scores of 74 and 72 in the first two rounds and sit two shots over par.
Eastern Kentucky carded back-to-back rounds of 308 for a two-round total of 616. Austin Peay is tied with the Colonels for sixth place. Western Kentucky (620) is eighth followed by Marshall (638) and Ohio (638), which are tied for ninth.

April Emerson are among the top-10. Fant (149) is tied for seventh after rounds of 74 and 75. Emerson (150) is tied for 10th one shot back.
Taylor Church (157) is tied for 34th.
The Arlington Club offers a par-72, 5,817-yard course for the competition. The final round of play is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday.
