RICHMOND, Ky. – Former Eastern Kentucky University women’s basketball player Nadia Mossong has signed a professional contract to play in Europe. The former Lady Colonel will play for the OKE Panthers Osnabrück in Germany.

“Being able to play professionally in Europe has been a goal of mine for a while now, and it feels great to finally achieve it,” Mossong said. “Everything that I have experienced over the past years helped me to get to this point. I couldn't be more excited to take the next step in my career.”

Mossong, a native of Berldange, Luxembourg, was a four-year letter winner for the Lady Colonels. She concluded her collegiate career this past season. Mossong earned a bachelor’s degree in broadcasting and electronic media in three years and concluded a master’s degree in sports administration this past year.

The Panthers’ season is scheduled to begin on Sept. 25 and will conclude in March.
