RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University men’s tennis team won all six singles matches in straight sets en route to a 7-0 win over rival Morehead State Tuesday afternoon. The Colonels (15-7, 5-1 OVC) reached the 15-win plateau for the sixth straight year.
“Morehead is annually a very emotional match, so I was glad to see our players stay focused at task at hand – getting to match point,” Eastern Kentucky head coach

Seniors
Philip Janz and
Niklas Schroeder (No. 2) won the deciding match in doubles to give EKU the doubles point.
In singles,
Hugo Klientovsky (No. 1) and
Parul Verma (No. 4) remained undefeated in conference action with convincing straight-set victories.
The Colonels next take to the road to face nationally-ranked Louisville on Thursday, April 5.
