RICHMOND, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky University's men's basketball team will play its last home game until late December on Friday against Brescia. The game ends a four-game home stand for the 5-1 Colonels.

Eastern's next home game will be Dec. 18 against North Carolina A&T.
The Colonels are coming off an 82-68 win over Alabama A&M. EKU built a 26-point halftime cushion, but had to hold on as the Bulldogs closed to within six points on two occasions.
Glenn Cosey led four players in double figures with a game-high 23 points, which also marked his third straight game scoring at last 20 points.
Corey Walden added 16 points and
Tarius Johnson chipped in with 14 tallies. Meanwhile,
Eric Stutz recorded his first double-double of the season, and third of his career, with 11 points and 11 boards.
Alabama A&M was the first opponent to shoot better than 35 percent from behind the three-point arc against EKU. The Colonels had held four of their first five opponents to less than 29 percent shooting from deep.
Brescia is 4-3 this season. The Bearcats have wins over Kentucky Christian, Boyce College, Columbia International and Crown College. BU has lost to Ohio Christian, Taylor and IU-South Bend.
The Bearcats have also lost an exhibition game to Murray State by a score of 97-69.
This is the second-ever meeting between the two teams. EKU leads the series 1-0. The Colonels won 107-43 on Dec. 3, 2011. Eastern is 46-24 all-time against current members of the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (KIAC).
The Colonels have won 19 straight home non-conference games. EKU stands at 42-7 (.857) in home non-conference games under head coach Jeff Neubauer. The program record is 21 straight from 1977-78 to 1980-81.
Through six games this season, the Colonels have committed 50 fewer turnovers and out-scored their opponents by 89 points off turnovers (145-56).
