Final Results

SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. – Taylor Riggs tied for third overall and the Eastern Kentucky men’s golf team tied for second at the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate hosted by Tennessee Tech.

The event was originally scheduled for 54 holes, but was shortened to 36 due to poor weather.

Tennessee-Martin (593) placed first.  EKU (603) tied with Newberry College for second.

Riggs shot rounds of 74 and 72 for a total of 2-over 146.  He finished three shots out of first place. 

Garrett Hinton tied for fifth overall with a 36-hole total of 147.  Stuart Witt (150) and Johan Eriksson (150) tied for 15th.

The 9-team event was contested on the River Course at Sevierville Golf Club, a par-72 6,928-yard course.

Eastern plays at the three-day C&F Bank Intercollegiate beginning Sunday.
