RICHMOND, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky University will honor six men's basketball seniors that set numerous school records for wins before its game on Saturday against Tennessee State, the regular season finale for both teams.

Tipoff at McBrayer Arena is scheduled for 7 p.m. The live radio broadcast is available in the Richmond area on WCYO 100.7 FM, and can be heard worldwide on EKUSports.com. A live video broadcast is available on OVCDigitalNetwork.com.

The senior class includes Ryan Parsons, Jeff Johnson, Orlando Williams, Tarius Johnson, Marcus Lewis and Glenn Cosey. Four of those – Williams, Tarius Johnson, Lewis and Cosey – transferred into the program before the 2012-13 season which saw EKU win a school record 25 games. Eastern's 45 wins over the last two seasons makes this the winningest two-year period in program history.

On Thursday, a late 23-7 run propelled Eastern Kentucky to a 74-67 win over visiting Tennessee Tech and guaranteed the Colonels a first round bye in next week's Ohio Valley Conference Tournament. With a win over Tennessee State, EKU can claim the No. 3 seed.

Eastern (20-9, 10-5 OVC) also secured the ninth 20-win campaign in program history. Johnson and Cosey led Eastern with 20 points each. Johnson also had five rebounds and four assists. Corey Walden added 14 and Eric Stutz finished with 12 points and a team-best six rebounds.

Tennessee State (5-24, 4-11 OVC) is coming off a 70-68 win at Morehead State on Thursday. Patrick Miller, a 6-foot-1 senior guard, scored 38 points. He made 12-of-19 attempts from the field and 10-of-11 from the free throw line. The Tigers turned the ball over only seven times.

Miller leads the OVC in scoring this season at 23.7 points per game. He scored 33 the first time EKU and TSU played this season. Eastern Kentucky knocked down 13 three-points and put Tennessee State away early in a 94-78 victory on Jan. 23.

The Tigers scored the first basket, but EKU went on a 15-2 run to take a 9-point lead. A hot streak from behind the arc later in the half allowed the Colonels to stretch a 10-point lead to a 21-point margin. Five straight Eastern field goals came from behind the three-point line. The Colonels knocked down 13-of-25 shots from behind the three-point line for 52 percent.

Cosey finished with a team-best 24 points. Tarius Johnson finished with 13. Lewis and Isaac McGlone each had 11 points. Jordan Gaither came off the bench to hit five three-pointers and finish with 20 points for the Tigers.
