LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Nationally-ranked Louisville defeated the Eastern Kentucky University men's tennis team Tuesday afternoon, 6-1. 
EKU (14-7) held tough with the No. 28 Cardinals (22-5) as three of the six singles matches went to a deciding third set. Sophomore 
Diogo Soares won his contest at the No. 5 position thanks to outlasting UofL's Michael Lippens in a super tiebreaker, 10-6.

Juanjo de la Llera (No. 6) each won the first sets of their respective matches, but could not hold on against their Louisville opponents. 
Eastern Kentucky wraps up its regular season schedule this weekend at OVC opponents SIUE (April 10) and Eastern Illinois (April 11).
