Live Stats vs. UT Chattanooga

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The EKU men's tennis team will travel to play the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga on Saturday followed by the University of Samford on Sunday.
 
The Colonels (7-6) have won their last six matches, having shut out three of the last four opponents. EKU beat Xavier 4-3 and the University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) by a score of 7-0 last Friday. Against Xavier, freshman Guillem Sanchis battled off two match points at 5-3 in the third set to complete the come from behind win against Gabriel Araujo.
 
Sanchis was named the Ohio Valley Conference Male Tennis Athlete of the Week on Tuesday.
 
Ramon van Flymen has won his last five matches, as has Florian Graskamp.
 
UT Chattanooga (3-5) is coming off a 6-1 loss to Tennessee Tech and a 4-2 loss against North Alabama last weekend.
 
Samford (3-3) is coming off a 7-0 loss to South Alabama last Thursday.
 
Saturday's match against UT Chattanooga is scheduled for 12 p.m. Sunday's match against Samford is scheduled for a 10 a.m. start.
