RICHMOND, Ky. – The EKU women's tennis picked up its second win of the season, claiming a 5-2 win over the visiting University of Indianapolis on Saturday at the Greg Adams Tennis Center.
After the Greyhounds pulled ahead 2-1 in doubles play, the Colonels controlled singles action on their way to the win in their second match in as many days.
Corentine Bodin declared the first singles' point for EKU with a 6-4, 6-4 win at No. 2 singles.
Viktorija Demcenkova followed suit with a convincing 6-0, 6-2 win at No. 3 singles, before Raquel Montalvo and
Margaux Lacroix's victories solidified the EKU win at home.
The Colonels (2-2) play host to Lincoln Memorial University on Friday at the Greg Adams Tennis Center. Friday's match is scheduled for 4 p.m.
