PENSACOLA, Fla. – The EKU women's tennis team fell to sixth-ranked University of West Florida, 5-2, in Sunday's dual match.
Sunday's match marked the first of two matches for EKU this week during spring break.
Viktorija Demcenkova and
Margaux Lacroix teamed up to beat the West Florida duo of Dianna Vlad and Valeria Mantilla, but the Argonauts picked up the doubles' point.
Laura Argente and Demcenkova highlighted singles play for the Colonels, picking up wins at No. 1 and No. 2 respectively for EKU.
The Colonels (5-7) are back in action on Tuesday as they take on Troy State. Tuesday's match is scheduled for 10 a.m.
