A'Queen Hayes was chosen as the OVC Co-Player of the Week and the OVC Newcomer of the Week on Tuesday.

EKU held Jacksonville State to 44 points, tied for the fifth fewest points ever allowed in an OVC game in program history, in a 48-44 win at home on Saturday.

During its two-game winning streak, EKU limited its opponents to 49 points per game, 37 percent shooting and 32 percent from three-point range. Eastern out-rebounded the two teams by seven boards per game and combined to out-score TTU and JSU 56-28 in the paint.

Austin Peay is 11-8 overall and 4-4 in OVC play. The Governors have lost three of their past four games, falling in road games at Tennessee Tech, Jacksonville State and Belmont.

Sophomore
DeAndre Dishman poured in a career-high 21 points vs. Jacksonville State on Saturday. Dishman is now averaging 13.3 points and 6.8 rebounds-per-game during OVC play, and he ranks third in the conference in field goal percentage (56.2%).

Nick Mayo recorded his fourth double-double of the season vs. JSU (14 points, 11 rebounds). In doing so, he grabbed his 500th career rebound. He is one of only eight Colonels ever with 1,300 points and 500 rebounds in a career.
