RICHMOND, Ky. – Due to Eastern Kentucky University hosting the All "A" Classic boys and girls basketball tournaments this week, the EKU men's and women's basketball teams will play two games at regional sites, beginning Thursday against Jacksonville State at Berea College.Â
The women's game tips at 5 p.m. The men's contest is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.
Both games will air live on ESPN+.
FREE shuttle buses will be available for the games from the EKU campus and from Berea Community School. The first shuttle from campus will depart from the EKU Fitness and Wellness Center at 4:30 p.m. and will return at the conclusion of the women's basketball game. The second shuttle will depart campus at approximately 7:15 p.m. and will return to the fitness and wellness center after the conclusion of the men's game.

A shuttle will run continuously from Berea Community School to the Seabury Center on the Berea College campus from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.

- EKU (9-10, 2-4 OVC) used a
JacQuess Hobbs buzzer beater to top Southeast Missouri, 85-83, last Saturday night at McBrayer Arena. The Colonels will be seeking their third straight conference win on Thursday night.Â
- Senior
Nick Mayo scored his 2,000th career point on Saturday vs. SEMO. Mayo is the only player in OVC history and the only active Division-I player with 2,000 career points, 700 career rebounds, 200 career assists, 100 career blocks and 100 career three-pointers.Â
- Entering this season, EKU had not had a buzzer-beater win since 2014. The Colonels have had three buzzer-beaters already this season.Â
- EKU ranks 10th in the county in scoring offense this season (85.9 points-per-game).Â
- EKU ranks second in the country in steals/game (11.0), fourth in turnovers forced/game (19.2) and 15th in turnover margin (+4.2). The Colonels lead the OVC in all three categories.Â
