Final Results

SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. – The Eastern Kentucky University men's golf team finished second in the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate hosted by Tennessee Tech University.
 
Erik Lindwall and Martin Eliasson finished tied for third at seven under par for the tournament (209).
 
EKU was in second place after day one with a team total of 280. The Colonels shot to first place after a day two round of 10 under par (278).
 
Eastern's three-day total of 848 put the team in second place for the tournament, six strokes behind Lee University.  
 
Carson-Newman (859) finished third and IUPUI finished fourth (875). Wright State and Tennessee Tech finished tied for fifth (876).  
 
The three-day tournament was played at Sevierville Golf Club on the par-72, 6,913-yard River Course.
 
Tyler Lippert (215) tied for 11th. Andreas Nielsen and Billy Basham finished tied for 13th at 217.
 
Eastern returns to the course next Sunday at the Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate hosted by William & Mary.
