BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – Eastern Kentucky University senior Erik Lindwall was chosen as the Ohio Valley Conference Men's Golfer of the Month on Tuesday. 
 
Lindwall posted two top-5 finishes, while helping the men's golf team to three top-10 team finishes, including a second-place finish at the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate, during the month of March. He was also chosen as the OVC Golfer of the Week once during the month.
 
In nine rounds, Lindwall posted a 72.2 stroke average and was 5-over-par for the month. 
 
He began the month by placing 18th at the Pinehurst Intercollegiate with a three round total of 223 (+7). He followed that with a third-place finish out of 90 competitors at the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate. The senior capped the month by placing fifth out of 111 at the Golden Horseshoe Invitational with a total of 218 (+5).
 
Eastern Kentucky wraps up its final round today at the Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate, before hosting Eastern Michigan this Saturday.
