RICHMOND, Ky. – EKU will play host to Ohio Valley University on Thursday, the Colonels' second home game in three days.
 
The game is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. and will air live on ESPN+.  The live radio broadcast of the game is available in the Richmond area on WCYO 100.7 FM, and can be heard worldwide on EKUSports.com.

INSIDE THE SERIES
-  EKU leads the all-time series 2-0.
 
-  The two teams first met on Nov. 26, 1996 with the Colonels winning 89-86.  The most recent meeting came on Dec. 9, 2009.  Eastern Kentucky won that game 74-58. 
 
THE COLONELS
-  Eastern Kentucky opened its 2021-22 season with a 93-63 win over Georgetown College on Tuesday.
 
-  Cooper Robb scored a career-best 21 points while hitting 5-of-9 from three-point range.
 
-  Braxton Beverly dished out seven assists and scored nine points in his EKU debut.
 
-  Michael Moreno grabbed a game-high nine rebounds to go along with 15 points.
 
-  As a team, the Colonels shot 57 percent from the field for the game.
 
-  Eastern Kentucky opponents had at least 14 turnovers in every game last season.  Georgetown turned the ball over 15 times in the season-opener.

-  Ohio Valley University is 0-2 this season after losses to a pair of Kentucky schools.  OVU fell at Campbellsville, 83-74, and lost at home to Cumberlands, 108-80.
