BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – After finishing second at the Amelia Island Collegiate, Eastern Kentucky senior Ragnhildur Kristinsdottir was selected as the Ohio Valley Conference Golfer of the Week.
 
Kristinsdottir finished second, just one shot behind the leader, at the event hosted by Jacksonville University.  Her performance helped Eastern place third as a team in its first appearance of the 2020-21 season.
 
The Reykjavik, Iceland native sandwiched rounds of even-par 72 around a second round 2-over 74.  Her three-round total of 218 was just one shot behind individual medalist Minori Nagano (217) of Seminole State.
 
The season continues for Eastern Kentucky on March 8-9 at the UNF Collegiate hosted by the University of North Florida in Jacksonville.
