ATLANTA, Ga. – Redshirt freshman and Monticello, Kentucky native Reese Sexton was chosen as the ASUN Conference Men's Golfer of the Week on Thursday.
 
Sexton tied for ninth overall at the Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational hosted by Ball State University on Friday and Saturday.  He shot rounds of 72 (+2), 69 (-1) and 69 (-1) for a 54-hole total of even-par 210.
 
Sexton is second on the team this season with a 71.83 stroke average.  Three of his six rounds have been at par or lower. 
 
Eastern Kentucky will play in the Zach Johnson Invitational on Sept. 27-28 at Glen Oaks Country Club in Des Moines, Iowa.
