EKU Men’s Golf Adds Transfer Milton Wallin for 2026-27

RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University men's golf team has added transfer Milton Wallin to its 2026-27 roster, head coach Pat Stephens announced Thursday.

Wallin joins EKU after spending his freshman and sophomore seasons at the University of West Georgia, where he competed in 54 rounds across 20 tournaments and held a 74.3 stroke average. He is the first signee out of the transfer portal for the Colonels this offseason.

"We're very excited to add Milton to our 2026-27 men's golf team," said Stephens. "Milton possesses a solid game from tee to green. With two years of collegiate experience, we feel he will make an immediate impact on our program. Welcome to EKU, Milton. Go Colonels!"

Last year at West Georgia, Wallin competed in 10 tournaments and carded a 74.9 stroke average across 28 rounds.

He claimed individual medalist honors at The Savannah Intercollegiate, firing a 215 (-1) over the three-day tournament with rounds of 71, 71 and 73 competing at The Club at Savannah Harbor. The following week, Wallin recorded a career-low 208 (-5) total at The Surf Club Invitational in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, closing a stretch of play that increased his national rank by over 670 spots on the DI circuit.

Milton would go on to earn his first career selection as the Atlantic Sun Conference Men's Golfer of the Week on Feb. 26, 2026. Over the season, Wallin recorded seven rounds at or below par and finished in the top 20 individually twice.

As a freshman at UWG in 2024-25, Wallin posted a career-best 73.6 stroke average across 26 rounds and finished in the top 10 three times. He was the second highest-rated golfer on his team competing in DI golf for the first time in school history.

The Stockholm, Sweden, native fired a season-best 3-under-par score to finish sixth at the 2024 Colonel Shootout, hosted by EKU at the University Club at Arlington.
