RICHMOND, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky women's basketball is excited to announce its annual "Shoot-a-Thon" fundraising event will take place on Saturday, November 12 at 1:30 p.m. at Alumni Coliseum.

"We hope to have another successful November. I am excited to try and exceed our goals from last year," said head coach Greg Todd. "All the support from our community and those afar has been nothing short of amazing and we look forward to continuing that during our Shoot-a-Thon."

EKU is set to honor the 2004-05 EKU women's basketball team the night prior on Friday, November 11 against Appalachian State at 7:00 p.m. ET. Tickets to witness the recognition of our former student-athletes are available for purchase through the EKU Ticket Office or by calling 859-622-2122.

Participation

Participants will include all current student-athletes, members of the 2004-05 EKU women's basketball squad, athletics staff members, and special guests.

How it Works

Fans are invited to sponsor a player by pledging a gift per shot. Current team members will shoot 100 shots and the alumni/staff participants will shoot 40 shots, and you can pledge here at alumni.eku.edu/shootathon. Outright gifts can also be made at go.eku.edu/give-EKUWBB. All money raised will directly benefit our student-athletes and their experience at Eastern Kentucky University.
