KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Eastern Kentucky women's basketball will take a three-hour drive down I-75 on Sunday afternoon to face nationally-ranked No. 23 Tennessee inside Thompson-Boling Arena for the first time since 1993.
Sunday's game will be aired live on
SEC Network+ with Andy Brock and Sami Kincaid on the call, the game can also be heard on the
Lady Vol Network. Fans looking to make the trip to Knoxville can purchase single game tickets on the
Volunteers' website.
Eastern Kentucky is looking for its second win at Tennessee in school history, Shirley Duncans' Colonels defeated the Volunteers by a score of 89-68 in 1976.
Alice Recanati led EKU in its last contest against in-state Midway University, the Bergamo, Italy product tallied a season-high 19 points on 6-of-11 shooting from the floor and 2-of-3 from beyond the arch.
Antwainette Walker continues her hot streak heading into the Colonels first true-road test of the season, the senior recorded her sixth-straight double-double with 12 points, 17 rebounds (Career-high), and six assists (Career-high) against Midway. Her six double-doubles shares the nation lead with Angel Reese (LSU) and Lauren Gustin (BYU).
Kalissa Lacy recorded a career-high 17 points in Wednesday's win over the Eagles, the Charleston, W.Va. native shot 5-of-11 from the three-point line pushing Eastern Kentucky to a 31-point victory.
Danielle Rainey makes her return to the SEC on Sunday afternoon against Tennessee. The graduate student spent four seasons with Florida prior to arriving in Richmond, Rainey is 0-4 all-time against the Volunteers.

- Wednesday's win over Midway moved
Greg Todd to 14-6 inside Alumni Coliseum.
- Three of EKU's four wins this season have been by over 20 points, including two 30-point wins over App State and Midway.
- With 58 rebounds against Midway the Colonels notched their highest value since 2012.
- EKU has grabbed 35 or more rebounds in all six games this season.
- The Colonels sit at 21st in the country and first in the conference in made free throws at 16.83 per game.
- EKU also rests inside the top-60 in the nation in free throw percentage, rebounds per game, scoring offense, three-point percentage, and made three-pointers.
- With 10 steals against Midway, EKU tied its season-high for the third time this season.
All-Time vs. Tennessee
- Sunday's contest is the 10th meeting between Eastern Kentucky and Tennessee, the Volunteers lead the all-time series 8-1.
- EKU's lone win against UTK came in 1976 against Pat Summit in her second season at the helm of the Volunteers.

- Head coach Kellie Harper is in her 19th overall season and fourth as the leader of Tennessee, Coach Harper has recorded 66 wins and 31 losses in the orange and white.
