ATLANTA, Ga. – EKU's Ragnhildur Kristinsdottir was chosen as the ASUN Conference Golfer of the Week on Thursday.  It is the fourth time this season Kristinsdottir has earned the recognition.
 
The senior opened the spring portion of the 2021-22 schedule by finishing second at the First Coast Classic, which featured six teams ranked among the top-140 in the nation, including two additional ASUN teams. 
 
Kristinsdottir carded rounds of 72 and 3-under 69 on the first day before closing out with a 74 during the final round.  She concluded with a 54-hole total of 215 (-1).  Kristinsdottir had 17 birdies or better over three rounds.
 
The Reykjavik, Iceland native helped EKU capture the team title by 11 shots.  It was the Colonels' fourth title of the season.
 
Eastern Kentucky will be back in action at the UNF Collegiate on March 7-8 in Jacksonville, Florida
