JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Eastern Kentucky's women's golf team finished 12th at the UNF Collegiate on Tuesday.

EKU shot its best round of the two-day tournament on Tuesday, carding a 297. The Colonels finished with a total of 905, seven shots in front of 13th place Florida Gulf Coast and just two shots behind 11th place Central Arkansas.

Host North Florida (865) won the event by six strokes over Furman (871).

The 17-teams competed on the par 72, 5,926-yard course at Jacksonville Golf and Country Club.

Ragnhildur Kristinsdottir and
Rylea Marcum led the Colonels. Both finished tied for 33rd with 54-hole totals of 225 (+9). Marcum shot an even-par round of 72 on Tuesday, the best by the Colonel in the three rounds.

Carlee Shoemaker (230) tied for 54th and
Vilma Efraimsson (234) tied for 69th.

EKU will play again on March 19-20 at the Low Country Intercollegiate on Hilton Head Island and hosted by Wofford.
