Round 2 Results

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Ragnhildur Kristinsdottir improved by one shot in the second round of the Ann Arbor NCAA Regional on Tuesday and moved into the top-25.
 
Kristinsdottir shot a second round 74 on the par 71, 6,265-yard U-M Golf Course.  She is tied for 23rd overall with a two-round total of 149 (+7).
 
Starting on hole 10, Kristinsdottir had three bogeys on the back nine and made the turn at 3-over.  She was 5-over after two bogeys on the first four holes before finishing strong.  Kristinsdottir had a two on the par-3 No. 5 hole and then shot par on each of the next three.  On the final hole of the round, the Reykjavik, Iceland native birdied the par 4 No. 9 to finish 3-over for the round.
 
Kristinsdottir is within four shots of a top-10 finish.  She will tee-off for Wednesday's final round at 8:55 a.m. ET.
 
The NCAA Championship field includes 72 teams and 36 additional individuals.  Each regional site features 12 teams and six individuals.  From regional competition, 24 teams and 12 individuals, who are not part of an advancing team, will advance to the national championship to be played May 20-25 at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona.
